From Sailing the Horizon to Falling in Love with Diving

I started working on sailing boats thinking the journey would always be about the horizon. But over time, my focus shifted, every time we reach a new place, my first thought is simple: can I dive here?

Underwater, there’s always something new. Different light, different life, different worlds. It never feels repetitive. At some point, I picked up a camera, and diving changed again! I slowed down, noticed more, and started capturing moments I didn’t want to forget.

A lot of this started with Alex, a close friend who runs a small dive center called Ikigai Scuba in Mallorca. Through him, diving became more than just something I enjoyed, it became something I needed. Now, wherever I go, there has to be a dive, or it feels like I’m missing part of the place.

Sailing shows me the world, but diving makes me feel part of it.

Definitely the best scuba diving center you can find in Mallorca, Alex is very professional in explaining and showing diving procedures without counting that he’s there to make sure you’ll have a good/fun experience. Its worth every single euro.
